For nearly 50 years, MRIB has provided investment solutions to our clients and their families. During that time we have seen how difficult it can be for people to get the transparent, reliable advice they need.
We take the time to understand the needs of our clients, their individual aims and objectives for the future as their lives change, and their intergenerational wealth requirements within their family unit. Therefore how we do business is as important as what we do.
With MRIB, you can be assured of receiving an honest, trustworthy, open and reliable service that we are confident you will want to recommend to friends and family.
Founded in 1972 by Peter and Maureen Finch, MRIB Group started life as a high street independent insurance broker offering services in all classes of insurance and mortgage business. Since then, the MRIB Group has continued to grow and has since separated from the general insurance arm of the business to offer financial services as a standalone business.
Our relationship with you starts with a non-committal discovery meeting where we explore your financial planning needs and objectives. At this meeting we will outline our business proposition and how we can best assist your individual requirements.
As independent financial planners we are able to source solutions from the whole of market to deliver our personal recommendations aligned to your individual requirements, rather than working from any tied arrangements. This is an extremely important element for both us and our clients.
At MRIB our relationships are extremely important to us, and we are proud to have long-standing employee and client relationships that continue to contribute to our excellent reputation.

Having started in financial services in 1985, Peter has worked in a wide variety of roles within the profession providing advice to clients from all walks of life including employers, employees, self-employed and business owners, and to their friends and family too.
In his own words, he has ‘a peculiar fascination’ for pensions and saving for retirement and works hard with clients to demystify the subject. Peter helps clients create meaningful goals, keeping financial planning easy to understand (no jargon) and on track within a friendly, relaxed and informal meeting of minds. He’s found that simplicity and understanding, along with a smile, are the key to this.
Peter is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
